Does
your South Central Alaskan business need more exposure? This summer
we are Beta testing banner advertising on Alaskanoutfitting.com.
We are concentrating our efforts on our fishing pages because
we currently hold many of the top search engine results for many
fishing locations such as “Fishing Ship Creek” and
“Eklutna Tailrace.”
You can leverage these search results by advertising on our new
fishing pages. We currently are testing two advertising channels
that should help pinpoint your Anchorage or Kenai Peninsula fishing
audiences.
Anchorage Fishing Locations: This advertising
option will show your ad randomly on our fishing location pages
from Eklutna Tailrace to Portage Valley.
Kenai Fishing Locations: This advertising option
will show your ad randomly on our Kenai Peninsula fishing location
pages.
Due to the fact that this is a Beta, and our pages are still limited,
we are looking for very modest payments from Beta advertisers
(By modest, we mean, $5-$10 for the season, a trade for rights
to use photos of the area, or a good story about how an ad on
our site would help you out.)
Currently the banner designs are vertical tower ads which are
160 wide and 600 high like the sample to the left. We have also
built in the possibility to place a 728x90 Leaderboard Banner
if you are interested. If you don’t have a banner, we can
create one for you, we would just need the photos and text you
would like to have on the banners. Don’t worry, we can do
better than our sample.
We are looking for no more than three advertisers per channel
so your ad would show up at least 33% of the time (again, talk
to us, it could be exclusive.) We will look at traffic and success
of the advertising at the end of the season.
