Your privacy is our first concern. We will not collect any personal information without your consent. Should you provide us any personal information (i.e. an email address for subscribing to a newsletter) we promise to safeguard it. We will never share, sell, or lease email lists or any other personal information with anyone. Also, we will never post personal information on our site where or make it accessible to other readers or email address scanning software.

We do not collect any credit card information, social security numbers or any other critical identification information on this site. We recommend caution when giving this information out anywhere on the web. We suggest to only give this information out on secure sites. We require that any merchant we affiliate with to use secure ordering.

Logging – Our web logs do capture domain information, navigation information and IP addresses of individuals reading pages on our site. However, these web logs do not capture any personally identifying information (i.e. we don’t capture email addresses.) This collected information is only used to track activity on our site and is analyzed to help improve the site.

Unsolicited (Spam) Email – We do not currently send any emails other than direct responses to inquiries. We do plan to have a newsletter in the future, but we will only send this email to individuals who request it. We will never send unsolicited email or anonymous mass mailings.

Received Email – We ask for feedback on many of our pages. We do not keep any record of your email address without your consent. We may request to use the content of your email on our site. Should you give your consent we will insure that your identity is protected.

Cookies – We currently do not set any cookies on your machine. In the future, we may use short-lived cookies to track forum or poll participation. We will not use the cookies to store any personal information. Please note, most of our affiliated merchants do use cookies but these are only used to track sales and ease your experience on their site.

Links – We provide links to many external sites. Our privacy policy does not extend beyond the alaskanoutfitting.com domain.

Polls – We are not currently using polls but if we do participants will be kept anonymous. There is a possibility that we will use a cookie to limit multiple voting.

Forums – We are not currently using forums. If we do implement them, we will use an identification protecting design.

Note, there is no way to fully protect the security of information transmitted over the Internet so be careful in all your transactions on the Internet. We will do everything in our power and knowledge to protect your privacy on this site.
