We recommend caution when giving out this information anywhere on the
web. We suggest to only give this information out on secure sites. We
require that any merchant we affiliate with to use secure ordering.
Logging – Our web logs do capture domain information, navigation
information and IP addresses of individuals reading pages on our site.
However, these web logs do not capture any personally identifying information
(i.e. we don’t capture email addresses.) This collected information
is only used to track activity on our site and is analyzed to help improve
the site.
Unsolicited (Spam) Email – We do not currently send any
emails other than direct responses to inquiries. We do plan to have
a newsletter in the future, but we will only send this email to individuals
who request it. We will never send unsolicited email or anonymous mass
mailings.
Received Email – We ask for feedback on many of our pages.
We do not keep any record of your email address without your consent.
We may request to use the content of your email on our site. Should
you give your consent we will insure that your identity is protected.
Cookies – We currently do not set any cookies on your machine.
In the future, we may use short-lived cookies to track forum or poll
participation. We will not use the cookies to store any personal information.
Please note, most of our affiliated merchants do use cookies but these

Links – We provide links to many external sites. Our privacy
policy does not extend beyond the alaskanoutfitting.com domain.
Polls – We are not currently using polls but if we do participants
will be kept anonymous. There is a possibility that we will use a cookie
to limit multiple voting.
Forums – We are not currently using forums. If we do implement
them, we will use an identification protecting design.
