This is a great shot of the Anchorage’s early days, showing the fledgling city just after it sprouted from the shores of Ship Creek. The Chugach mountains in the background is the only recognizable skyline in the picture though. This is a great vintage photograph for anyone who lives in Anchorage or has a piece of Anchorage in their heart. It is a great piece of Alaskan history.
