Grizzly Man Sound Track by Richard Thompson Who must have this book: Who should have this book: ASIN: B000AYYTEE

This soundtrack plays wonderfully for Werner Herzog’s movie but on its own, it is not so strong. Richard Thompson and the other session musicians are great in accompanying the movie, but when the music stands alone, it lacks something. Apart from Coyotes and the music is mostly just moody ambiance and which does not play well track after track. Again, I’m not knocking the music, it is great for its purpose but not great when laid down on a cd.

I do recommend checking out the music feature on the Grizzly Man DVD, it helped me appreciate the process that was used in creating the soundtrack and I can appreciate their mastery, but my recommendation is to pass on this. Maybe pick up the Coyotes and the Main Title track from Itunes.
