Russian River Photo Gallery

These pictures were taken in Mid-July and can show just how unpredictable Alaska can be. First the weather was sunny and in the eighties for two straight weeks. I couldn't have asked for better photography conditions. So I stepped into **** for lunch and when I came out a forest fire was starting to obscure the otherwise perfectly clear air. These pictures were taken just as the second wave of Sockeyes was due to start into the Kenai. Click on each thumbnail to see a larger picture.
