Thunderbird Creek Photo Gallery

This photo gallery contains pictures of Thunderbird Creek taken in late June 2005. No one was attempting to fish the creek while we were there, but there was steady traffic of day hikers along the Thunderbird Cree Trail. Click on each thumbnail to see a larger picture.

Thunderbird Creek Picture 1: A good look at the creek from the fishable area just below the falls. Not a hospitable spot.

Thunderbird Creek Picture 2: A view of the falls from the viewing platform at the end of the falls.

Thunderbird Creek Picture 3: Another shot of Thunderbird Falls from the viewing platform.

Thunderbird Creek Picture 4: Here is a shot of the last fishable and hikable area on the lower trail.

Another view of the creek, notice the heavy siltation that adds to the marginal fishing in the creek.

Thunderbird Creek Picture 6:The lower trail enters a some low wet areas that are perfect for mosquitos and devils club.
